D0sag3 Films (D3F) is a graphic design and video editing title that I created for myself in high school. D0sag3 (which is the word dosage spelled with a zero and a three) was my Xbox live gamertag when I was younger. After spending some time playing games such as Halo, I became interested in video editing and graphic design. This lead me to creating d0sag3 Films and beginning my graphic design career. Through the years, I have kept the d0sag3 Films name and used it whenever creating graphic art or video editing. As my professional career develops and I tend further in time away from being associated with my X-box live gamertag, consideration for a graphic design name change has been considered and will likely come in the near future.
Many of my projects include introduction animation for gaming groups, banners and wallpapers. Some of my first projects included paid projects for Detroit In Focus where I created some of the introduction and transition scenes of a MMA promotional video found here. The projects on this page are not all of the projects by d0sag3 Films. The purpose of this page is to highlight and show a few of the various types of projects that are done through the d0sag3 Films title.
One main focus of d0sag3 Films is static image creation. This includes banners, icons, wallpapers and more! Some of the static projects can be found below!
One main focus of d0sag3 Films is the creation and editing of animated logos. Animated logo's serve the purpose of being a company, designer, or artistic logo to precede a film and serve as a branding. These short animations have been used since the beginning of the film industry.
This Gluten Intolerance introduction was made for a World of Warcraft guild named Gluten Intolerance. Along with the introduction, I recorded and produced numerous gameplay videos for the guild. These videos can be seen at the following links.
This grid design was made when experimenting with making abstract circuit designs. In an attempt to generate some neat electrical effects, this was created as an introduction to be used in later d0sag3 Films videos. This intro has been used in a few d0sag3 Film videos including "d0sag3 Halo 2 Minitage: Limit Breaker" which is linked to below.
This particle reveal was a modern remake of the first d0sag3 Films intro that I ever made. The original was made in high school and was brightly colored with low resolution. This remake features a sleek modern metallic color scheme with high definition particles. This design is used in a few
This flourish design was a remake of the first d0sag3 Films banner that I had ever made. The banner was created and then later animated. This intro design is used in many later d0sag3 Films videos for D3F branding such as in a World of Warcraft video made for my old guild named Dull Roar. Links to these videos can be found below.
One main focus of d0sag3 Films is creating hte production of short videos. This has mainly been focused on gaming videos and short informational projects for schooling. Some of the video productions can be seen outlined below!
World of Warcraft (WoW) is a massive online game which I enjoyed playing many years ago in my free time throughout college. On occasion I recorded game play videos and compiled videos for various WoW videos for numerous Guilds. These videos were created for fun or advertising for the guilds.
Some production videos made by d0sag3 Films include Halo 2 game play and montage videos. these were mostly made with game play recordings taken of myself playing the game back when I was in hgih school. Halo was the game that got me interested in video editing and graphic design after I found an enjoyment of the Halo community montages and videos that existed at the time.
A Shakespeare timeline I created for my Shakespeare class in high school. This was created when I started video editing under the name "d0sag3 films". This video, "D0sag3-films : Shakespeare Timeline", was created using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. This was one of the first things published after first getting into video editing.
One main focus of d0sag3 Films is editing and creating special effects in movie clips for larger productions. These special effects include anything from exploding stars, flares, lightsaber effects, energy effects and more! Along with special effects, abstract designs are also created to be used in conjunction with video productions. Some of these are featured below as examples.
One thing that I've worked with is the creation of textures and animations for celestial bodies. This is done by creating planet textures that can be mapped to a sphere and then moving fractals for simulating star surfaces or atmospheric activities (clouds, lava flow, storms, etc). Most of these works have not been published but an example of one is a rendered star which can be seen at the link below.
